Untested Instrumentally Inseminated Breeder Queens
These breeder queens are typically shipped the day after insemination, and are not yet laying. This means they are more of a gamble in regards to introduction success, which is why they're cheaper. They have been inseminated at around 9 days of age with drones from our VSH tested stock. I will ship them next day air after the insemination procedure. I should be able to ship them between the months of May and June. I recommend introducing into hopelessly queenless colonies (no eggs or young larvae), bulk bees, or queenless packages. I've had great luck introducing them into a few pounds of bees shaken into a nuc box with drawn comb and a syrup feeder.
